Hi, I’m Chris Peck and I oversee cases in their initial stages. I meet with clients, evaluate all potential legal issues in their cases, and form strategic roadmaps that our firm will follow in resolving these cases. Getting to know my clients and fully understanding their legal issues is incredibly important to me because no two cases are the same. Every case requires its own unique strategy in order to obtain the result that is right for the client. While I generally handle our cases in their early phases, I remain involved with the case at all stages of litigation in order to help our firm work as a team to reach the best results for our clients.
For nearly a decade prior to joining with John Hinman to form Hinman & Peck, P.C., I worked for defense firms that primarily specialized in defense of hospitals, doctors, medical groups, nursing homes, and major trucking companies. I served as lead attorney on numerous multi-million dollar cases in state and federal court. My experience with defense firms allowed me to gain valuable insight into the manners and methods used by corporations and insurance companies when working-up, evaluating, settling, and taking cases to trial.
My background in litigating highly technical and often-complex cases has shaped the way I evaluate and prepare every case, large and small. Every case is investigated and worked-up as if it were going to trial. Cutting corners is a gamble we refuse to make with our clients and their cases.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and either mountain biking or trail running in the local hills and mountains.
